During a salt scrub your therapist will use mineral salts combined with a quality massage oil or moisturising lubricating agent to gently exfoliate your body, stimulating circulation and removing dead skin cells to reveal soft silky skin. Many spas offer luxurious salt combinations using fruit extracts like strawberry, kiwifruit, mango, watermelon, French vanilla and coconut, appealing to your senses and providing a truly blissful experience.
The exfoliation part of the treatment usually takes between 20-30mins. If the spa has a Vichy shower your therapist will use this to thoroughly rinse you off before the application of an appropriate moisturiser. Alternatively you can use a conventional shower to rinse off.
